Our mission and vision

Mission Statement
The mission of the San Diego City Employees' Retirement System is to deliver accurate and timely benefits to its members, retirees and beneficiaries and ensure the Trust Fund's safety, integrity and growth.

Vision Statement
The vision of the San Diego City Employees' Retirement System is to be an independent, leading edge, actuarially and financially sound and transparent pension plan, responsive to its participants, with excellence in governance, management, leadership and service, and a positively perceived and vital contributor to the community.

 

 
Information of interest about SDCERS

SDCERS offers a comprehensive range of services to our members, including appointments with our Retirement Counselors to discuss retirement benefit options or entry into DROP. Members may also request forms, obtain their account balance and confirm their beneficiary on file by contacting our Call Center. To set up an appointment with a Retirement Counselor, or to contact our Call Center, call 619.525.3600, or toll free at 800.774.4977.

 
Board Schedule

The SDCERS Board of Administration meets nine times a year, approximately every six weeks, on each scheduled Friday at 8:30 a.m.  Meetings are held at SDCERS offices' on the 3rd Floor. The schedule is reset each January.
