SDCERS Welcomes New General Board Trustee

The San Diego City Employees’ Retirement System (SDCERS) today announced the election of Thomas Battaglia to fill an open General Member Trustee seat on the SDCERS Board of Administration. Battaglia has been elected to serve the remaining four-year term ending March 31, 2017.
 
Battaglia currently serves as a Senior Budget Development Analyst with the  Financial Management department of the City of San Diego.  Battaglia has been with the City of San Diego for 14 years, with previous service in Park and Recreation,  Fire Rescue, Public Utilities, and Public Works departments.  He currently serves on the Board of the Municipal Employees Union as well.  Battaglia holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and a Master of Arts in Management from the University of Redlands.
