SDCERS Welcomes New Retired Board Trustee

The San Diego City Employees’ Retirement System (SDCERS) today announced the election of Charles Hogquist as the Retired Trustee to the SDCERS Board of Administration. Hogquist has been elected to serve the remaining four-year term ending March 31, 2019, left vacant by Richard Wilken.
 
Hogquist retired from the Police Department in 2006 as a Police Lieutenant, and went on to a career with the San Diego Community College District as their Police Department’s Police Chief. He was Director of the San Diego Police Officers Association, and previously served on the SDCERS Board as the Active Police Safety representative. He is currently the Vice President of the Retired Fire and Police Association of San Diego. Hogquist holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting and a Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School Of Law.
