If you are having issues with your Member Portal account (e.g., locked out, registration blocked, haven't received the one-time password email, etc.), please call (619) 525-3600 - SDCERS will need to verify your identity over the phone before we can assist with Member Portal-related issues. You may choose to fill out the form below instead, but please know that for the security of your confidential account information, a staff member will need to speak to you on the phone before moving forward with your request. P.S. Don’t forget to register on the SDCERS Member Portal, which allows you take advantage of dynamic retirement tools and features - at the highest level of security. Registration is easy and takes just minutes, but please don't hesitate to call us if you have any difficulties. (Note: Active/Inactive Members will need to know the amount of their member contribution on their most recent paycheck; Active DROP Members will need to know their most recent DROP contribution; and Retired Members will need to know the exact amount of their last pension payment in order to register.)

The San Diego City Employees’ Retirement System is located in the heart of downtown San Diego on the corner of Columbia St. and West A St. Please see this page for more information about directions and parking.
If you are within six months of eligibility, you can submit your service retirement, DROP entry, or DROP exit application via your Member Portal, which will prompt an SDCERS staff member to contact you and schedule your counseling appointment. You must submit your electronic application before we can schedule your service retirement, DROP entry, or DROP exit counseling appointment.
Member counseling appointments for disability retirement applications and purchases of service credit are available by calling SDCERS.
Business hours for the Call Center are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – noon, and 1:00 – 4:00 PM. Please note that calls are recorded for quality assurance and training purposes.
